Vincent Pante (he/him) is a music producer and DJ from the Philippines. Vincent’s background in applied mathematics and previous career as a data analyst continue resounding in his creative practice. He gravitates towards house music and techno, noting how the genres’ characteristic 4/4 time signature still manages to generate an infinity of sonic permutations.
Vincent’s most recent EP, The Body Project, explores the duality of identity in itself or as part of a community, with neither being more important than the other. “The cycle of transitioning from a first-person view to a third-person view, back to a first-person view, ad infinitum, becomes self-affirming and enriching, enabling an artist to create something of themself while also being in service of the community they are a part of.” This sense of community is what moves Vince to absorb, create, and share — whether it be new music, a party he’s attended, or seeing the fire of music burning in the hearts of his peers.
